At Ellanelle, winemaking is in not only in our blood, it’s in our soil. The Brown family has been farming this valley for three generations, and after ten years of growing wine grapes, we’ve decided it’s time to take the leap and make a wine of our own. With Len in the vineyard and me keeping the books, we believe hard work means getting your hands dirty, especially when the dirt is so good. We ventured forth with our first vintage in 2011 and released our second vintage in October 2012 – a New World Cabernet we think is sublime. We’ll see if you agree.
